Standard rollerskates or quad skates have a plate which consists of an axle, single or double-actioned trucks, and maybe toe stops. The plates can be made out of cast aluminum, aircraft aluminum, nylon, and plastic. The trucks can be 45 degree single-actioned, 15 degree double-actioned, or 15 degree micro- adjustable. Some of the more expensive skates include an added piece of metal or jump bar to give the skate more strength.
